Whether you often complain out loud or just have negative thoughts about yourself and others, Going NoCo can positively change all aspects of your life.
Complaining internally or externally worsens stress, depression, and anxiety. It can erode your relationships in love, with family, and at work. It can keep you from enjoying what is good in your life. Complaining reinforces problems and can keep you from seeing solutions.
Going NoCo can improve your health, relationships, self-esteem, and your overall ability to bounce back when life throws you for a loop (aka your "resilience").
And yet even when people want to stop complaining and know the good that will come of it, many find it hard to stop. That's where this workshop comes in.
Through lectures and exercises that will teach you new tools, you'll gain insight about why people complain, its impact, and what you can do to interrupt destructive communications patterns. You'll identify what makes you reactive, and how complaining becomes habitual and unconscious. You'll practice breaking bad habits and will set up new ones that support a healthier, more connected, and more joyful life. And you'll even learn a bit about the science that backs up all of this.

Part 2: January 30, 2p-6p
In Part 1, you'll get an introduction to all the underlying concepts and discoveries about complaining, what keeps it in place, and how to interrupt the patterns. You'll do exercises that will reveal your own thought patterns and practice changing those thoughts.
Then you'll take these tools into the real world and try them out. You'll do more exercises on your own and with others in the course.
In Part 2, we'll come back together and share what you learned, and work through the places where you got stuck. Then we'll transition to learning how to keep NoCo in place, and what to do next to maximize the benefits.
